Our training course is designed specifically to build your skills in becoming a professional Certified Dog Trainer. Each lesson features full page descriptive text, along with detailed training videos with examples of trainers, dogs and owners executing our techniques. The key to success as a dog trainer is to build a solid foundation of skills that you can apply from training session #1.
From lesson one, the Introduction to How Dogs Learn to lesson 18, Modifying Problem Behaviors, our program is designed to teach you the necessary skills to become an ISCDT Certified Dog Trainer. Whether you enroll in our hands-on training or our online course, when you complete our program you will be prepared to:
- Train dogs professionally
- Be prepared for advanced training courses offered by the ISCDT
- Answer questions from dog owners and provide quality / thoughtful / helpful answers
Each Chapter has the following requirements
- Read lesson material
- View supporting videos
- Each chapter will have at least one assignment, some chapters have multiple assignments.
- All assignments are uploaded for review and approval prior to certification
- The instructor approves your assignment and you are notified of lesson completion
